The Sacraments

Baptism

Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church. Through the pouring of water and the invocation of the Holy Trinity, we are cleansed of original sin, welcomed into God’s family, and begin a new life in Christ. It is a joyful celebration of faith and the foundation of the Christian journey.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession, is an opportunity to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness. By confessing our sins and receiving absolution, we are reconciled with God and the Church. This sacrament offers healing, peace, and the grace to grow in holiness.

Eucharist

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. In Holy Communion, we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, nourishing our souls and deepening our unity with Him and with one another. Through the Eucharist, we are strengthened to live out our faith in the world.

Confirmation

Confirmation deepens the grace received at Baptism and strengthens us through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In this sacrament, we are sealed with the Spirit and empowered to live as faithful witnesses of Christ. It is an important step in maturing in faith and embracing the mission of the Church.

Marriage

The Sacrament of Marriage unites a man and a woman in a lifelong covenant of love, rooted in God’s grace. Through this sacred bond, couples are called to reflect Christ’s love for His Church and to support one another in faith, family life, and holiness.

Holy Orders

Holy Orders is the sacrament through which men are ordained to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops. Through this vocation, they are given the grace to lead, teach, and minister in the name of Christ. It is a sacred calling dedicated to serving God’s people.

Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick offers spiritual strength, peace, and healing to those who are seriously ill, elderly, or preparing for surgery. Through prayer and the anointing with holy oil, Christ brings comfort and grace to those in need, reminding them of His healing presence and love.
